MICA is a mineral which offers a wide range of exceptional properties. For the past forty years  the activity of DARUKAMICA consists of the transformation of Raw Mica into an industrial insulating material without altering its Natural Qualities.

Thermal Properties

• Withstands heat upto temperatures of 1850⁰F (1000⁰C).
• Low Heat Conductivity.
• Resists Fire without Burning.

Electrical Properties

• Good Resistance against Arcing and ARC Erosion.
• Insulating Strength bettter than 20KV/mm.
• Permeability to Microwaves.

Chemical Properties

• Mica is inert to most Chemical Agents.
• In particulars solvents, acids, bases and minerals oils.

Mechanical Properties

• Very good Compression Resistance.
• Very good Tensile Strength.
• Very good Bending Strength.
• It has large Elasticity Modulus.
