Daruka Mica tapes are expertly hand laid using selected muscovite ruby mica splitting are chosen for their uniformity in thickness and shape, large size, and quality.
Consequently, dielectric strength for the entire tape structure is in the 500 - 600 vpm range. All tapes have a self life and cold storage is recommended.
Glass fiber cloth is used for mechnical reinforcement, available on both side mica, or glass fiber cloth on one side & polyester film on other side. Polyester film increases the slip required for good conformability on coils. Available with epoxy binders for 155o C - or silicon binder for 180o C - 220 o C (class "F", "H" & "C") requirements.
